We are teaming up with Reno Food Systems to bring you some outdoor creative fun!
We LOVE Reno Food Systems (and not just because they have emotional support goats that we get to visit, though that is part of it). This 5-acre urban farm grows delicious produce, community and hope in equal measures. Together and in collaboration with Art Town we are hosting four drop-in Plein air (if you're fancy) or Eco-drawing (if you're grubby like us) events. From 4 to 7 each Sunday afternoon in July we will get together to draw/paint the flora and fauna of the farm while getting to spend time together in a beautiful place. There will be reasonably priced art kits you can buy or feel free to bring your own supplies. We will have guided opportunities or you can free range it like the feral cat that you are. This series will culminate with a outdoor exhibit of the art we make and a potluck dinner on the farm. How cool is that? FREE!
